UNIVERSITY POLICE INVESTIGATE CAMPUS ROBBERY

A 20 year-old male UA Student reported to University Police that he was the victim of a robbery that occurred at approximately 2:00 A.M. on Sunday, April 11, 2010. The victim stated he was at work making a food delivery in the 300 block of on the University campus when he was approached by five college-aged males. They engaged the victim in a short conversation before one of the males struck the victim and a scuffle ensued. They took property from the victim and fled in an unknown direction. The victim was able to hold one of the subjects at the scene and this person was turned over to University Police for follow up investigation. The victim suffered a non-life threatening injury during the incident. The victim did not observe any weapon during the event.
